NEWS: Covid-19 Update

Following the escalation of Gloucestershire to Tier 4 and the prevalence of the new variant coronavirus, the North Wilts Youth League opted to postpone the next three weeks of league fixtures. 

The following statement was released following the postponements:

“As a result of the recent Government announcement on Tier changes, the League has decided to postpone all fixtures for the next 3 weekends (until 17th January) and will continue to review the situation as the Government
makes future decisions about Tier changes.

NEWS: Lockdown in England and grassroots football

Some of you may have read the news reports regarding the pause of grassroots children’s football – we are still waiting on official confirmation from the North Wilts Youth League and the Football Association.
As soon as we have confirmation, we’ll share details here.
Most training sessions scheduled before this Thursday will still proceed – we hope that we can get back playing football soon and that in the meantime all our players, parents, volunteers, grandparents and carers are staying safe.

NEWS: Fairford Youth Football Club Look To Shine Bright This September!

Fairford Youth Football Club  have teamed up with local charity Shine Bright Support to raise awareness of childhood cancer this September.

The youth football season begins in earnest this weekend (6th September) with over 200 children getting ready to play their first games for FYFC since the lockdown ended their 2019-2020 season.
