NEWS: Lockdown in England and grassroots football

Some of you may have read the news reports regarding the pause of grassroots children’s football – we are still waiting on official confirmation from the North Wilts Youth League and the Football Association.
As soon as we have confirmation, we’ll share details here.
Most training sessions scheduled before this Thursday will still proceed – we hope that we can get back playing football soon and that in the meantime all our players, parents, volunteers, grandparents and carers are staying safe.

NEWS: Fairford Youth Football Club Look To Shine Bright This September!

Fairford Youth Football Club  have teamed up with local charity Shine Bright Support to raise awareness of childhood cancer this September.

The youth football season begins in earnest this weekend (6th September) with over 200 children getting ready to play their first games for FYFC since the lockdown ended their 2019-2020 season.

NEWS: FYFC answer the £64,000 question!

Fairford Youth Football Club is delighted to announce the award of a £64,000 Football Foundation grant to the Club.

The Football Foundation is the UK’s largest sports charity and exists to improve the experience of playing football for everyone, by championing fair access to quality facilities.

With training now returning, and with plans for a safe return to league football in place, the grant from the Football Foundation will allow FYFC to make improvements to both the pitches at Horcott Road and the Club House. Continue reading “NEWS: FYFC answer the £64,000 question!”
